Council’s Landlord Forum a success
A special Landlord Forum organised by Trafford Council proved to be a big success.

More than 30 attendees were at the event at Trafford Town Hall to discuss a number of items including the Renters’ Rights Act.
Alana Davies, from the National Residential Landlords Association, gave a presentation on housing health and safety ratings; Samantha Smeaton spoke about the Warm Homes Local Grant and John Bibby, from the GMCA, presented on the Manchester Good Landlords Charter.
A spokesperson for Trafford Council said:
"The Landlord Forum was a big success and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended. The discussion around the new Renters’ Rights Act, which gives new rights to tenants and introduces new rules for private landlords, was positive and informative.
"The council is keen to support all the good landlords in Trafford and this forum is about working closely to help deliver a quality service in partnership. We will be organising a similar forum in the near future."
