Private landlords across Trafford are being invited to attend a special Forum to discuss a number of important topics including the new Renters’ Rights Act.
The event has been organised by Trafford Council and will take place at Trafford Town Hall on 8 July, 2026, from 6pm to 8pm.
Alana Davies, from the National Residential Landlords Association, will give a presentation on the Renters’ Rights Act and landlords will be given the opportunity to ask questions.
The Forum, which also includes a presentation on the Warm Homes Local Grant and the Manchester Good Landlords Charter, will be opened by Cllr Rose Thompson, Trafford Council's Executive Member for Housing, Partnerships and Live Well.
You can register for the free-to-attend event on Eventbrite.
Cllr Thompson said:
“The Forum will be discussing a number of important topics affecting landlords including the Renters’ Rights Act which gives new rights to tenants and introduces new rules for private landlords. It is important that as many private landlords as possible attend the event to get answers to questions they may have.
"The Forum is an excellent platform for updating landlords on issues and legislation regarding the housing and lettings sector. Landlords will find the forum interesting and informative and will take away information that is important to both themselves and their clients.”
