Families can again access free pre-loved school uniforms ahead of the new school year.
Stretford Community Hub who will be hosting a free pop-up uniform week from August 18 to 25.
Eligible parents can simply turn up at the Hub, based at Stretford Public Hall on Chester Road, to pick up uniforms and shoes.
The Hub will be working with Trafford Council as well as a number of local charities including Bridging the Gap as part of the project.
Emma Finn, Community Hub Co-ordinator, who has been providing uniform support through the Hub for four years, said:
"The cost of school uniforms is soaring and every summer we get lots of requests for help. The exchange scheme will help residents access affordable school uniform items.
"Last year we helped hundreds of families struggling to buy uniforms with help and this year we will do the same. Parents should also ask schools themselves what they can do to help before they break up for the summer."
