Standard service fees

The table lists the fees for standard pre-application advice for all other forms of development. This includes a written response.

If, during the pre-application process, we need to obtain advice from independent consultants regarding the proposal, then the applicant will be expected to cover the costs of that advice.

Meetings fees

The table lists fees for where the pre-application advice is provided in a meeting with agreed minutes (for proposals below 100 residential units or 10,000sqm of commercial floorspace).

Advice relating to discharge of conditions

Exceptions to fees

The adaptation of a building to meet the needs of a person with a disability will be exempt from a pre-application advice fee.

To support this we may require a supporting justification from an appropriate medical professional, such as a doctor or occupational health practitioner to confirm that the adaptation is required for the person's greater safety, health or comfort.

Works requiring Listed Building Consent or planning permission for physical works to a listed building and/or an associated curtilage structure will also be fee exempt.

New development within the curtilage of a listed building, or a proposed change of use of a listed building, will not be exempt.
