In accordance with Regulation 26 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2012, notice is hereby given that the abovementioned SPD was adopted by Trafford Council’s Executive on 16 September 2024.
The SPD sets out the design intentions for new development in the Borough and provides clear parameters for developers, applicants, officers and Members in understanding the level of design quality required for schemes in Trafford, whilst enabling and supporting robust planning decision making.
The draft SPD was subject to a seven-and-a-half-week public consultation period between the 3 July 2023 to 25 September 2023.
