Opened 4 February 1885. New graves are still available for burials and half graves for cremated remains. Whilst the chapel is unavailable for services, it is possible for a service to be held in either Hale Cemetery or the Crematorium chapel prior to interment.
Location
The cemetery is at the bottom of Lime Road (Off Edge Lane) and is which is approximately 600 meters from Stretford Metro Station. Buses from Altrincham and Manchester stop on the A56 near the Stretford Mall Shopping Centre which is approximately 5 minutes walk to the cemetery.
