Funding may be available towards the cost of a qualification for people who work in an early years or childcare setting in Trafford.

Qualifications can only be funded through Trafford College who have met our quality assurance criteria. If you would like to study with a different college or training provider, we are unable to provide funding. If you do not have a GCSE in Maths and English, please contact Trafford College for more information on how to upskill yourself, or your staff.

  • Contact Trafford College to confirm your place on a course and the total cost of your qualification.
  • Contact early years learning and development team to request a funding application form.
  • You will be notified of funding via email within 10 working days.
  • Funding applications must be received prior to the start date of the course.
  • Funding is subject to availability and Trafford Council reserve the right to refuse or reduce funding at any time.
