Skills Bootcamp in Cloud Security

About the course:

The Cloud Security Bootcamp will not only get you started with Cloud Foundations, Computer Networking, Python Programming, Databases and AWS services but also introduce you to the Cyber security domain.

The course covers:

• Secure Network Designs
• Social Engineering
• Malware and Digital Forensics
• Cyber threats and how they operate

In addition to weekly mentoring with the Skills City team, open office sessions and ad-hoc one to one opportunities with a variety of industry professions we are thrilled to have partnered with Tree of Knowledge to deliver an extensive personal development programme, including sessions on the following:

• What do you transmit
• Aspirational Team
• Interview Ready
• Personal Project

Start date:

8 April 2024 

Eligibility criteria:

• 19+
• All candidates will need to commit to this as a full-time course, meaning up to 40 hours a week.
• Access to a laptop that can run Microsoft Teams and Zoom and includes a microphone and camera.
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Competency in using a computer (no prior IT experience is required, but students should be confident in working independently online across a variety of platforms)
• Has not previously completed an AWS exam
• Previous experience in programming is useful, but not required.
