Level 1 Introduction to Childcare with guaranteed interview

About the course:

This Level 1 Childcare course aims to give learners a clear insight into career development within a childcare setting. Multiple subject areas are covered, and by the end of the course, learners will be able to:

• Know the range of settings in early years provision.
• Understand the key services offered in the different types of settings. 
• Know the roles, responsibilities, and possible career routes in early years settings.
• Understand the core skills required for work in early years settings and plan for a career.

During the course, learners will examine the key stages in a child’s development, look at factors that might affect the behaviour of young children and identify ways to support the social, emotional, and psychological needs of young children. Course also includes further elements:

• L1 Award in Childcare
• CV Writing & Amendments / Interviewing Techniques
• L1 Mental Health Awareness
• Paediatric First Aid Training
• Deaf Awareness

Eligibility criteria:

• 19y+
• in receipt of government benefits or employed and earning less than £20,888 per annum
• Learners must have good English skills Entry 3 as a minimum
