The role

Trustcare is the name for Trafford Housing Trusts independent living services. We're a registered charity and a profit-for-purpose organisation. Committed to improving the lives of the people we work with, the communities we work in and putting people before profit.

We're looking for Carer's to join our Community Homecare Team, working throughout the Trafford Borough.

Experience is not required, but we need those who have a naturally caring nature and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

On 9th November 2021 the government announced its intention to extend the requirement for mandatory vaccines to any workers who provide CQC regulated health or social care activities. This role is likely to fall within the new legislation should it become law. Therefore we request that before applying candidates consider that from the 1st April 2022, should the proposals become law, that the post holder will need to be fully vaccinated unless medically exempt.

As a Carer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care
• Food and hydration preparation
• Medication
• Assisting with general household duties
• And other supporting activities
