Helping to make Trafford even better for the future

Trafford is already one of the most thriving boroughs in Greater Manchester – and with your help we want to make it even better!

The Trafford Partnership, a collaboration of organisations, companies, community groups and individuals, has launched an exciting initiative called FutureTrafford which aims to change the borough for the better over the next 10 years.

This is an excellent opportunity for everyone across the borough to have their say on what they think Trafford should be like in the future and is the biggest piece of engagement work the Partnership has ever undertaken.

The partners, which include Trafford Council, Greater Manchester Police, Trafford College, Trafford Housing Trust, the NHS, Trafford Leisure, and UA92, want your thoughts and ideas on how we can work together to make this happen. The Partnership will be reaching out to the entire borough with a number of events and engagement over the next month and further engagement later in the year.

#FutureTrafford aims to get everyone that lives, works and visits Trafford to join a conversation about what the future can look like. The borough is already a thriving place that thousands of people call home, work and a great place to visit. But what makes it special to you? And what can we change to make it even better?

Cllr Graham Whitham, Trafford Council’s Executive Member for Communities and Partnerships, said:

Trafford is an amazing place and we want to make it even better. Two of our main Council priorities are having pride in our area and building thriving and successful places. This means everything to us.

The best way of creating a vibrant and exciting borough, and building on the strengths of Trafford, is by engaging everyone in a conversation about what we want the future to be. And that is exactly what we will be doing.”
