Trafford Council is reminding medium-sized businesses based in the borough that they may be eligible for a support grant of £25,000.
Firms with between 50 and 249 employees working from premises in Trafford that have not to date received financial support via the Additional Restrictions Grant Scheme (ARGS), Local Restrictions Support Grant (LRSG) or Restart Grant schemes are encouraged to check their eligibility and submit an application.
The one-off payments of £25,000 to Trafford-based businesses are designed to contribute towards fixed property costs and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The scheme will close at midnight on 21 May 2021 and full eligibility criteria can be found on our website.
A Council spokesperson said:
“As lockdown eases, we are delighted to see many businesses begin to trade more normally again, but we are well aware that the pain is not yet over for everyone. This particular grant scheme has been designed to help medium-sized employers manage fixed costs, and we would urge all businesses falling into this category to check the eligibility criteria carefully and access all the support available to them.”
