You can request a free kitchen caddy online to put your food waste in.
How to use your kitchen caddy
- Line the caddy with a compostable bag and fill it with your food waste. Do not use any other bags to line your caddy.
- Place a piece of kitchen towel between the compostable bag and your caddy to keep it dry. This also helps to prevent the bag from splitting. Put the kitchen towel in your grey bin after use.
- When you’re ready, tie a knot in the bag and place it in your green bin or green caddy.
Green street caddies
If you don't have enough space to store a green bin in your property, or you don't have any garden waste, you can order a green street caddy for free to recycle your food waste.
