Bulky item collection

For a fee, we can collect large and bulky items not included in our weekly collections, such as mattresses, refrigerators, and furniture. 

This service has a minimum, non-refundable charge of £44.10, which covers up to five items. Additional items can be added for an extra cost.

Charities in Greater Manchester may collect, refurbish, and sell your items at an affordable price to those in need. If your bulky items are in reasonable condition, you can donate them to the following organisations:

You can also return any electrical and electronic equipment to the retailer for free. 

Retailers must provide a way for customers to dispose of their old household electrical and electronic equipment when they sell a new version of the same item, under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations.
