Fostering
What is foster care?
Fostering is a way of looking after children who are not able to live with their own families. Some children need to stay for a few days, others a few months and some older children need to be with a family until they become adults. Foster carers can also offer short breaks to children with disabilities and their families through our 'Home from Home' scheme.
Satisfying and rewarding, fostering is when people provide a safe and caring environment in their own home for children and young people, including those who have disabilities and/or challenging behaviour...it can also be great fun!
