Information for already approved foster carers

We would love to speak to any foster carers who have been approved with other fostering providers and are interested in joining our team here in Trafford. We welcome those carers with as much enthusiasm as we would someone at the start of their fostering journey.

We are proud to be the largest not-for-profit fostering provider in the area and we believe that every resource possible should be spent on the children in our care and the foster carers who welcome children into their homes.

When you foster with us you will be joining a professional and supportive team of foster carers from day one, dedicated to changing the lives of children across the borough.

When you foster for us:

• The children you care for are local children, in the main attending Trafford schools
• Joined-up support is on offer from Trafford Virtual School and Trafford social work teams
• A dedicated training officer is provided with training offered in person or online according to your preference
• Mental health support is local with specialist CAMHS access for foster children
• You will be part of a local community of foster carers providing mutual help and advice
