Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) relief

Registered Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) may be entitled to 80% off their business rates bill.

To qualify, the property must be:

  • Occupied by a registered CASC
  • Used wholly or mainly for the purposes of that club (or that club and other CASCs)

What relief you can get

If eligible, your club will automatically receive 80% relief on its business rates.

We may also award an additional discretionary relief of up to 20% on the remaining bill.

How to register as a CASC

You must be registered with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to apply for CASC relief.
