Retail, hospitality and leisure relief

You may be able to get a discount on your business rates bill if your property is mainly used for retail, hospitality or leisure. This is a temporary relief scheme offered by the government and will end on 31 March 2026.

For the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026

You could get:

• 40% off your business rates bill
• Relief is capped at £110,000 per business across all properties in England

This applies to eligible occupied properties in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors.

You must apply by 30 September 2026. We cannot accept late applications.
