What is an accommodation certificate?
An accommodation certificate confirms that a property provides a safe and healthy environment for the occupants, and meets Housing Act 1985 and 2004 overcrowding standards.
If you plan to live permanently or semi-permanently with relatives in the UK, you will need an accommodation certificate to get a UK visa.
The UK householder you'll be living with applies for the certificate.
We can help individuals applying for a visa by inspecting a property to ensure it meets the required standards. If the property meets these standards, an accommodation certificate will be provided.
