Liability for Community Infrastructure Levy

The Community Infrastructure Levy (also known as CIL) allows local authorities in England and Wales to set a charge on some developments.

The income produced by CIL payments provides essential infrastructure to support planned growth.

If you need to submit a planning application, you will also need to complete a questionnaire to determine if you are liable to pay CIL. Use the following link to download this questionnaire from the Planning Portal.
