Apply online to work on a protected tree

To apply by post, download an application for works to Trees (TPO or in a Conservation Area), fill in the form and send it to the address on the form.

Council owned trees

Our Tree Management Unit is responsible for the management, inspection and maintenance of all council owned trees and highway trees throughout the borough.

Advice service

We do not provide tree surveys. 

We offer a pre-application advice service for protected trees. This is general advice in relation to works proposed on trees that are protected under TPOs or those located within conservation areas.
