Turn Moss statement of LPA

PLANNING APPLICATION 93628/FUL/18 – TURN MOSS PLAYING FIELDS

STATEMENT OF THE LOCAL PLANNING AUTHORITY

28 March 2018

The consultation carried out by the Local Planning Authority (LPA) on the Turn Moss planning application has led to a large amount of information being submitted by interested parties, which in turn has required the LPA to request further information from the applicant to address these issues. Statutory and other consultees also need sufficient time to consider this information and respond. As the period in which consultees may respond is being extended, the LPA consider this opportunity should also be given to other interested parties. As such, the date by which representations should be received by the Local Planning Authority is now Wednesday 18 April 2018, and the likely date for Planning Committee is Thursday 17 May 2018. The planning applications website will be updated to enable representations to be submitted beyond 28 March.

As the planning application proposals have not changed, this is not a re-consultation and is instead an extension to the existing consultation period. There is no need to resubmit comments if you have already made representations but individuals are welcome to comment further on the proposals up until the extended deadline. In accordance with usual practice, further information will continue to be uploaded to the planning applications website as the application progresses.
