Recycling rate – how well are we doing?

Our annual recycling rate in 2021/22 was 58.8%, making us the eighteenth best local authority for recycling in the country. Thank you to everyone for helping us recycle more.

With your help we can recycle even more. More recycling means we spend less on waste disposal, helping us to protect other essential services.

How our recycling rate compares to other councils

You can view a league table which ranks councils by how much they've recycled throughout the whole year.

The 'Lets Recycle' league tables 2021/22 show how our recycling rates compare to other councils in England.
