We are currently proposing the following projects.

Delamere School

To create three further one-to-one rooms to support pupils with the most complex needs at this special school in the west locality.

Manor Academy Sale

To create an additional 50 places in a specialist secondary setting. Due to site restrictions, this would require the acquisition of a property to support the expansion.

North Cestrian School

To create up to 25 specialist base places.

We have been working closely with the Hamblin Trust and are proposing to create an additional specialist base at North Cestrian School, a secondary school in the south of the borough, from academic year 2028/29. This is linked to a project to expand the mainstream school.

Support bases in secondary schools

Use available capital grant to create or enhance support bases in secondary schools to support relational approaches and sensory regulation.

Support bases in primary schools

Use available small capital grants bidding scheme to create or enhance support bases in primary schools to support relational approaches and sensory regulation.
