The Trafford Shop Improvement Grant is a one‑off grant to help retail and hospitality businesses in Trafford improve their shop or premises.
Businesses can get a one‑off grant of £5,000 to £10,000. Your project must cost at least £10,000.
The grant will pay up to 50% of the cost. You must provide the other 50%.
If your project includes larger or wider improvements, you may be eligible for a larger grant.
Where funding is from
This grant is funded by the UK Government.
If you get a grant, you must do what you agreed to in your application and allow us to check progress.
Timescales
The scheme is open until 31 July 2026 or until the money runs out.
This is a competitive scheme. If you get a grant, you must finish the work by 31 January 2027.
