A club premises certificate allows a members’ club to supply alcohol and provide entertainment to its members and guests.
You need a certificate if your club:
- supplies or sells alcohol to members or guests
- provides regulated entertainment such as live or recorded music, films, plays, or indoor sports
This certificate is for qualifying clubs only. If your club opens to the public or holds commercial events, you may need a premises licence
instead.
Before you apply, read our Statement of Licensing Policy to understand how we assess applications against the four licensing objectives.
