CIL process and commencement

When permission is granted for a liable development:

  1. Developer must submit CIL Form 2: Assumption of Liability
  2. CIL Liability Notice is issued
  3. CIL Form 6: Commencement Notice must be submitted at least one day before commencement
  4. Demand Notice issued based on commencement date

If forms are missing or deadlines missed, surcharges and enforcement may apply.
