What's on

Knit2gether

Sale library knitting group is friendly, sociable and suitable for beginners right through to knitting experts. We discuss and try out a wide variety of knitting activities.

  • Saturday at 10:30am till 12:00 – all abilities welcome

Storytime for under 5s

  • Tuesday 10:30am. Ask at the library counter from 10:00am for a ticket. Tickets are free but spaces are limited. One child per ticket. Children under 1 are welcome to attend with you, but don't need a ticket.

Rhymetime for under 5s

  • Friday at 10:30am. Ask at the library counter from 10:00am for a ticket. Tickets are free but spaces are limited. One ticket per child. Children under 1 are welcome to attend with you, but don't need a ticket.

We have a large selection of eBooks and eAudio available from Borrowbox.

Items which are not available at Sale Library but are available from another Trafford library can be requested free of charge.

  • Trafford Local Studies Centre, based at Sale Library, has a comprehensive collection of material in various formats for Local and Family history

Parking

There is a fee paying QPark on Broad Road. Three disabled bays are available on Tatton Place at the rear of the Waterside complex.
