Children under school leaving age need permission to work or perform. This applies to both paid and unpaid part-time work, as well as television, theatre, modelling and other performances.
We issue licences and approvals to make sure children are safe, healthy and able to continue their education alongside work or performance commitments.
Performance licences usually take at least 10 working days to process once we have all the required information. Chaperone licences can take 8 to 12 weeks.
