Open+ access

Open+ technology is installed to enable the opening hours of the library to be extended beyond the hours that staff are present. If you would like to access the library outside staffed times call in at any library, or ring our Contact Centre on 0161 912 3189 and ask about Open+ access to selected libraries.

Staffed times

The library is staffed for the core hours of 10am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 4pm on Saturdays.

Stock available

We have a large selection of eBooks and eAudio available from Borrowbox. Items which are not in stock at Coppice Avenue Library but are available from another Trafford library can be requested free of charge.

Coppice Library has the following items available for loan:

  • Hardback and paperback fiction, including bestsellers and contemporary novels
  • Non-fiction books ranging from popular interest topics to more academic subjects
  • Large print books
  • Talking books CD

For 14+

  • A wide range of material chosen to appeal to this group

For children

  • Stories for all ages from the youngest up to 13+
  • Junior non-fiction
  • Talking Books on CD

Free reservations for any item in stock or on order at any Trafford library
