Warburton Neighbourhood Plan
The Warburton Neighbourhood Development Plan 2025–2039 was adopted on 18 March 2026 and it now forms part of the development plan for Trafford. It covers the parish of Warburton and was prepared by Warburton Parish Council.
The plan includes policies on design, landscape character, heritage and archaeology, ecology, climate change, active travel, community facilities and designates 5 Local Green Spaces.

A referendum on the Warburton Neighbourhood Development Plan was held on Thursday 12 February 2026. Having undergone numerous rounds of public consultations and an independent examination.
