We use your information to manage allotment applications and tenancies.
What we use your data for
- managing the waiting list
- arranging plot viewings and inspections
- setting up and managing tenancy agreements
- contacting you about renewals, maintenance or issues
- reporting problems like flooding or damage
- chasing payments or managing tenancy disputes
What data we use
- name, address, and date of birth
- contact details such as email or phone number
Legal basis
We use your data under:
- Contract – to manage your tenancy
- Public task – to manage allotments under our duties in law (Allotments Acts 1908 and 1950)
Who we share it with
We may share your information with:
- local allotment society volunteers who help manage your site
- other agencies (like Highways or Environment Agency) if needed
- the police – if we report unlawful activity
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you’re a tenant and for 2 years after. We may keep it longer if there's a dispute.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data. You may also ask us to stop or restrict how we use it in some cases.
